Focused on customer needs for decades
In 1968 Renax Ltd., a subsidiary of the former Swissair, began its facility maintenance activities as a cleaning company in Kloten. In 1985 Hugo Gallo founded Gamma Reinigungen Ltd. in Zurich after having been active in the branch since 1972. From the beginning, his goal was to meet individual customer needs. This vision, along with the growing demand for cleaning services, has fuelled the continual expansion of Gamma Reinigungen.
In 2001 Gamma Reinigungen Ltd. merged the two cleaning companies with Renax Ltd., acquired in 1994, to form gammaRenax Ltd.. In 1997 the second generation took over: Severin Gallo, dipl. structural engineer ETH, became CEO of gammaRenax and expanded the market area to the whole of Switzerland. Additional services such as caretaking, landscaping maintenance and winter services were introduced. In 2004 the subsidiary clean&soft Ltd. was established for hygiene services.
Today, gammaRenax, with its head office in Dübendorf, Switzerland, is an integrated facility services provider with 1,760 employees and 14 offices covering the entire country. Addressing and fulfilling customer wishes continues to be the basis of continuous business growth even after decades of operation.
